I乫m engaged in research focused on economic systems as seen from  Socio-Economics viewpoint. In addition to studying the markets, enterprises, home economics and the government, I am also studying the underlying institutional elements such as money, power, and information. I have tried to analyze Socio-Economics not only in terms of the clearly visible political and legal frameworks of society but also through the observation of more wide-ranging fundamentals that form the social order. While I study theories concerning a consumer society and an industrial society, ranging from broader subjects such as Economic Progress and Social Ethics, I will examine such more practical, down-to-earth issues such as Consumer Behavior and the Behavior of Savings and Luxury Consumption, and discuss these in relation to home economics.

This year my attention is focused on Public Policies in a Consumer Society.
