Requirements for Starting Research
hThe student must have been registered for 3 years and more, and have acquired 93 credits or more to engage in Individual Graduation Research.h
iSee Table 5, Section 1 under the University of the Air Rule Further details are described below.

gcregistered for 3 years and moreh means that the regular student must have enrolled at least 3 years (2 years for those transferring into the second year, and 1 year for those transferring into the third year), excluding any time missed or suspended.

QD

gcacquired 93 credits or moreh means that at least 93 certified credits are necessary including those already certified at the time of enrollment or transfer form other universities.

Special provisions apply to students enrolling from the second semester:
iThose enrolling in the first year during the second semester of 1997, those transferred into the second year during the second semester of 1998, and those transferred into the third year during the second semester of 1999 and those who have not missed any semester and have acquired 83 credits or more by the second semester of 1999j
Note, however, that the students who satisfy the above eSpecial Provisionsf criteria may not register for Individual Graduation Research if their application was not accepted the year preceding graduation research.
